leaders oppose all party meet

‘All party meeting’. It is definitely not an ‘All party meeting’ as many of the leaders oppose the idea of the PM Modi of one nation one election as according to them it is against the democratic freedom.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for a meeting of all political party leaders on Wednesday to discuss the ‘one nation one election’ formula. Leaders of many Opposition parties are likely to skip the meeting.
Leaders including M.K. Stalin, Mamata Banerjee, KCR, Chandrababu Naidu and Sharad Pawar have opposed the meeting saying the formula will subvert federalism and democratic rights.

According to the reports, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has also decided to skip the high-profile meeting because he is busy preparing for the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation project’s inauguration on June 21. KT Rama Rao — his son and working president of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi — will attend it on his behalf.
The oath ceremony in the 17th Lok Sabha on June 18 was marked by raising of slogans such as Jai Shri Ram, Jai Maa Durga and Allahu Akbar by members despite the presiding officer ruling that that no slogans will go on record.
