BJP goes for a Bandh tomorrow

A state wide shut down (Bandh) on Thursday has been called by the BJP party as a part of the intensified protests by political parties against the examination valuation bungle. Both, the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), are determined to embarrass the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS).
The state BJP president K Laxman who was arrested for staging a protest is continuing his indefinite fast for the third day at the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad.

Even as former IT Minister and TRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) claimed that he didn’t have a clue about Globarena Technologies Private Limited, the firm that is alleged to have committed blunders resulting in mass discrepancies in the state Intermediate results, until recently, the Congress party has insinuated that it was KTR who awarded the contract illegally to the firm.
The Congress has demanded that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) release the full 110-page report of a three-member committee constituted last month, to probe the Intermediate results fiasco and has accused the ruling government in the state, of circulating a “tampered and fake report”.
