An audio clip of KCR’s phone call to a farmer, where Telangana CM KCR is heard solving Sharat a farmer’s problem, is doing the rounds on social media. Sharath, through an FB live, had complained how the Village Revenue Official (VRO) after manipulating the land records. He said the problem was not solved though he had been running around the government offices for 11 months. As the Facebook video began circulating on the social media platform, it came to the notice of KCR, who called him and solved his issue. Speaking to reporters on Thursday, All India Congress Committee (AICC) Spokesperson Dr Dasoju Sravan called the move an ‘election drama’ and argued that it was a violation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC).
Addressing an election rally in Nalgonda district hours after the Prime Minister launched the BJP’s campaign in the state, he alleged PM Modi was spreading “lies” against the TRS government for the sake of votes and political gains. “Chaiwala is gone and chowkidar has come. The country should tread a new path to get rid of all problems. These inept people cannot relieve the country of the problems,” Mr Rao said.
TRS president and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao will address 11 public meetings in the state from March 29 for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He has already addressed two public meetings – one at Karimnagar and another at Nizamabad.
